Mexican food has been my all time favorite, actually I found myself just love wrap, any kind of wrap. From Taiwanese Spring roll, Vietnamese spring roll, Singaporean Po Piah , Indian nann, to Mexican burrito, quesadilla, etc. So yea, Mexican. But of course its special flavoring and spices.
Anyway, when I searched on Google map and found this highly rated place with my favorite cuisine, I couldn’t give it a miss.
We took a taxi to Beach road, then I surprisingly found out this building is just behind South Beach Tower, FB office where I have been to twice but never never realized it was that close. Ok, I guess Singapore is much smaller than I thought. After six year’s habitation. Or I am just too innocent.
It was a weekend 4pm, so it’s so far away from crowded, guess it’s packed during weekdays lunch since Hello, office building is just behind.
It is more like a bar or bistro place than a restaurant. Dark lighting and very industrial decorated.
We ordered Spicy chicken Taco and Mango & Shrimp Quesadilla.
Taco (2 for $12, 3 for $17) was great, the fillings were nicely favored and balanced, but it’s soft skin which to my surprise. Not sure if it’s authentic.
Quesadilla was good too, but not that impressive as taco, opposite to taco, the skin was crisper than what I usually had. And the portion was small, only 4 pieces, although we were full but I don’t think it’s worth the S$22++.
Total we (2 pax) spent S$55 with GST/ service fee which was higher than expected. I will blame it on the beer but actually you should try the various craft beer from the bar 🍺
